A Different Kind of AAU Program
Come experience the positive culture at Bald Eagle Basketball Club. Tryouts are intended for any skill level player. We will evaluate your player and place them on a team or in a development program that is right for them.
FALL AAU 2026 Season
Fall Season: Aug. 24 – Oct. 25 (9 weeks)
Practices: Teams meet 2–3x/week for 1.5h practice or tournament games
Tournaments: Sept. 19, Sept. 26, Oct. 3, Oct. 24-25 (Season Finale is 2-day Tourney)
Youth Fall Teams: Boys and Girls 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th grades
High School Fall Teams: Boys-only, 4 Sunday Practices & 4 Tournaments (midweek practices with your HS team)

Tryout Schedule:
Sundays @ Los Altos High School, 201 Almond Ave, Los Altos CA 94022
- 9am – 10am, 2nd/3rd & 4th grade Boys
- 10:15 – 11:15am, 3rd-5th grade Girls
- 11:30 – 12:30pm, 5th & 6th grade Boys
- 12:45 – 1:45pm, 7th/8th/High School grade Boys
- 2:00 – 3:00pm, 6th-8th grade Girls
Attending Tryouts: We recommend attending the first tryout, if possible. Players may attend both tryout dates if they want more chances to show their skill. Players should wear proper basketball shoes, shorts and a reversible AAU/club jersey or t-shirt. Bring a ball and water bottle.
Current Bald Eagle AAU players: Your spot on a team for fall is guaranteed, but we expect you at tryouts for the best team formations. Contact us if you cannot attend either day.
Tryout Fee: $35
Youth Season Fee: $1850
HS Season Fee: $825
The Bald Eagle Program
Complete Player Development
Every player follows a professionally scripted plan covering skills, basketball IQ, teamwork, and character.
Coaches are Professionally Trained, CPR-certified and PCA-certified.
System designed and led by Coach Bob McFarlane, a PCA Development Zone Leadership Fellow and award-winning community leader.
Flexible Pathways for Every Player
Players of all levels are encouraged to try out and be professionally evaluated.
Players will be selected and placed on our ranked teams according to their skill level.
Players not selected will be given other options for development within our program
A full competitive season with family in mind
Boys and Girls divisions, grades 3rd–8th with multiple skill-level teams per grade for appropriate competition.
Fall, winter, spring, and summer seasons with 2–3 practices per week plus tournaments throughout the season.
One weekend day is always kept free for family time.
Weekly Sports Performance Training
Offered by fewer than 1% of basketball clubs, yet essential for peak performance and injury prevention.
Builds speed, agility, strength, etc. Teaches nutrition, recovery, mobility, etc.
Required for all players. Our partnership with Moxy Fit gym offers a variety of classes and flexible scheduling.
What Parents Should Be Looking For To Evaluate The Quality Of A Basketball Club
Websites and inflated coach profiles can be deceiving. Do you know what to look for in a coach and club? You are investing big to play AAU but dollar amounts do not guarantee quality or proper development. Coach Bob serves parents of any club by outlining a process to take a sober evaluation of any coach or club to see if they are a joke or the real thing.
